Ho, ho, Ho! What have you all been up to on Christmas?

We had a very relaxed and quite Christmas, it was nice to come down a bit from the all year working and shopping stress.

IMHO it´s the most important on the holiday season is that everything goes a bit more relaxed this time of the year, to reflect a bit what was good or not so good. And of course to have your loved ones by your side.

I always have to think about those poor people who have lonely x-mas. I always wish them all the best.

Merry Christmas to all! And I hope everyone has a very fine time. We are having a sunny and warm holiday here in California. So if you're cold where you are, I'm sending you 'warm' wishes. Jeri

Here in Germany it´s neither warm or cold, it´s such an unfortunate mix between rain, fog and a bit frost.

Apropos holiday´s, hows your opinion (as a US citizen) on the "24/7" mentality, that everything is always open the whole day so that people can´t take a break for very long? Just curious, here in Germany for instances, it´s not allowed for trucks to drive on our streets on Sundays and on official holidays, IMO it´s a good law.

And we eat very much on the holiday´s, and new year´s eve is still to come. But I love to bake cookies for everyone.

On the downside, it´s to bad I have to work on Monday.

Some of my fave holiday TV is the old show North and South. And all the Czech movie versions from the old Grimm fairytale`s.

I think those old shows have something very special: fantasy, a good story and special effects that maybe looks old but not as fake as the effects in today´s movies or television.

I didn't get much presents, but the money for the FedCon ticket And I didn't do much except for sitting around and watching TV. Nice and quiet, as I like it.
