Hello everyone I was sick for a while, and didn't get a chance to pop over here until now. On the bright side (If there can be a bright side to being sick) We watched The Mighty Celt

"Force Over Distance" by Clean White Room. I have to say how much I am enjoying this story. It's so great to have such a good writer.

“Intense arc of intenseness continues to be intense.” Excellent. Just what I want to hear. The imagery of waking from The Chair is what I have thought would be the condition to find oneself in. Sensory overload; sound, touch, visual sensitivity, all these things would be a shock, like waking from a deep sleep too early. The confusion of reality clashing with the surreal of the virtual converse. And one hell of a headache too.
I love the action in this chapter. No time to waste, no time for a recovery for our Colonel. His ship is under siege, physically, and virally. Not only this, but Dr. Rush is under siege, physically, emotionally, intellectually and from two viruses. As if just to add insult to injury, there is an advanced Ancient being who is sitting in judgement on these insignificant humans, waiting to see if they mess up his plans. What else could possibly go wrong? Oh yes, there are more enemy ships on the way! At this point hopefully something should begin to go right. And it does, Brody and Volker to the rescue! I love those guys. Written to perfection, as they are like squabbling brothers, who have solidarity when the chips are down.
Our heroic team dashing down the corridors, fighting as they must to gain an advantage, proving that scientists are not just pretty faces. As they narrowly make their goal, they find that the Control Interface has been infiltrated by the enemy, with Eli and Rush there! Their worst fears realized. What now? I don’t think I’m going to sleep well until the next chapter! Excellent!

Don't worry about how they will react to that. It's not their business. They shouldn't choose sides because this is between you and the other person. That's the thing about transitioning into your 20's is that you realize that waaaaaaay too many people are involved in your personal business. You can offer suggestions, assurances, etc, but basically, one shouldn't have to choose sides. I had friends and family that did that for years until I said, "Enough! You don't like it, you deal with it, but don't make it my problem."

You know, I really love those photos with the blue shirt. He looks so relaxed and happy in those. I like him in blue, white is good too, oh and a black suit.

That's an argument, but if I had to watch him walking around outside in the cold without shirt I would feel too much sorry to enjoy the movie .

Oh, this is a great story. Young is way out in unfamiliar territory, terribly confused, lonely and Rush is actually being nice. Snarky but nice.

Oh YES!!!!! I'm glad he didn't become a "Hollywood jerk" like other actors. He's still independet from this milieu and still makes these lovely films like "Summer".
