Wow, we've strayed quite far from the topic, but it's rather amusing.

I've always considered Australia to be "Southern Hemisphere Texas", which is to say it's my #1 foreign country destination. (Mexico and Canada - already been there, but I drove so it really didn't seem all that...foreign)

Oh, and Scotland is "North and East Texas", the OTHER foreign country I'd be happy to get marooned in.

And SGU has Robert Carlyle, who is Scottish, and my favorite part of the show...whew...back on topic.

LOL! We did get a bit off topic there but that's bound to happen a bit as we wait for the second half of the season. We can only chew over these first few eps for so long. As long as we don't end up too far afield and if we're all friendly to each other...

I really would like to recommend Maureen Ryan's Nov. 8 The Watcher article she does an excellent job explaining pretty much how many Stargate fans feel about SGU thus far.
