Seconding the Deanna Casaluce mention from earlier, as well as the Kandyse McClure. Tossing in Mageina Tovah (Joan of Arcadia, Spiderman 2 & 3). I also wouldn't object to seeing Gina Torres in command.

Well, if they really want younger, then I've got a great idea. How about bringing back Cassandra as played by Colleen Rennison. At least she's been in Stargate before. She's pretty hot now and she's young enough. I think putting her character in Universe would be a good movie.

I also wouldn't mind seeing Corin Nemec back.

Its not only a question of who will be in the cast, but how many. I think I read somewhere the ship will have a crew, now does that mean an Atlantis like expedition goes aboard the Destiny? Or just a team sized group>?

Well Nathan Fillion's show Castle just got picked up for ABC in 2009 so he is out.

I think Kiefer is slightly busy with 24

I guess that leaves Corin Nemic and Sarah Clark.

As much as I would have loved to see Nathan Fillion here, I am happy he is starring in a show on a major network. Hopefully it will do better than Drive.

If we are doing a Firefly wish, then I would like to add my support for Gina Torres, but since she has a young child I can't see her moving to Vancouver. So that is four cast members down. I think Ron Glass is a bit out of the age range they are looking in, Jewel is out unless they bring Keller over and I am sure Alan Tudyc isn't the direction they want to go it.

Hey how about Jonathan Woodward (Firefly, Buffy, Angel). He isn't name enough to be the leader, but I think he would make an excellent cast member.

Oh and for whoever said Mark Shepard, I would watch him in anything. Love that guy.
