I never said BluRay is a superior format overall. In my opinion it is, but I fully realize that this is my personal opinion and not fact. What's fact is that both formats are equal in terms of video quality (with BluRay having only a slight edge, theoretically, because of its higher maximum transfer rate).

I apologize for taking this argument a bit to far. You are correct about the specs and the facts you posted. I just really don't like anything that Sony has a hand in anymore.
