    Yay!
I sure hope we get more than just these first two movies. Believe me, two are better than none at all. But I guess I'm just greedy. I want more.

Havent visited wthis section yet but i think a movie revolving around the ancient allience and the plague would be great, a massive prelude to the series, explaining all those cryptic mentions of the allience which were never explained, finally showing the furlings in a propper context, why did the ancients leave for pegasus, when and why did they create dakara, were the asgard part of the origional allience or are they too young, are the nox humans descended from the ancients, what was the galaxy like just after the ancients arrived, were there races her already, was the population entirely anceint/allience or did they seed non ancient human life before earth.

I think there are alot of questions a movie about the allience could answer and i dont think any gater would be against seeing the allience of the four great races unlocked for all to see. And lets not forget the furlings might even get a ninth cheveron in there too.

I say bring Mini-Jack and Casandra in to star.

Maybe as part of a team that gets shot back in time to the current SG1's period.

Wrist mounted DHD's, slipping up and asking why the SGC doesn't just crank out a couple of ZPM's.

Don't know if this has already been said, but it woud be cool if we'll see Jonas again and find out what happend to him since we last saw him in season 7, especially what happend to him during the Ori invasion of his planet

That definitely would be unexpected. Especially after all this time. But, it is also highly doubtful.

Don't get me wrong, I love all the battle stuff. But a nice plot is also a must for me to enjoy any movie.

I am with the two other mentions in the whole thread for the Nick Ballard follow-up story. To be honest, I have always wanted to know more about the giant aliens since the Season 3 ep, and Nick is my favorite guest character of all of them. I want to know what he has been up to for the past 7 or 8 years. I am sure I am not the only one.

Not to mention, Jan Rubes is still alive to reprise the role. I just love the character all around. :-)

While I too would have loved some sort of follow-up to Season 3's "Crystal Skull", I'm not really sure I'd want that story to occupy an entire SG-1 film. That is, unless we know we'll be getting quite a few of them.

We don't know much about the species in crystall skull, so I guess that alone would be enough material for an entire movie

Didn't one of the books make them the Furlings? Or are the fandemonium books sort of considered AU or not-canon?

if that is said in a book, than it isn't official

                              Okay, another movie idea:

                              "Retribution"
A war-torn galaxy finds itself once more on the brink of destruction...
Has SG-1 finally met its match?

SG-1 (Col. Mitchell, Col. Carter, Vala, and Daniel) is offworld on newly-rebuilt Dakara, sitting in on the first meeting of the newly elected Free Jaffa Senate. Bra'tac. the longtime de facto leader of his people, has finally been officially made Chancellor, and Teal'c is serving as High Admiral for the Jaffa fleet.

The meeting begins with numerous Jaffa Senators (including Ishta and Rak'nor) giving reports on the status of their star systems following the defeat of the Ori. Apparently, a cluster of worlds on the outer edge of the galaxy took severe damage, and 90% of the populace was killed. The Jaffa representatives from these planets are demanding the Nation provide the materials to rebuild.

But Bra'tac is adamant; the Jaffa Nation's resources are strained as-is, and the top priority is getting the fleet built up enough to repel any attack. Only then can they work on internal matters. Grudgingly, the outlying Jaffa accept.

Now it is SG-1's turn to speak, as Carter has a message from the President for the Senate. She informs the Jaffa that, effective immediately, Earth will be opening the newly-constructed Delta Site for all displaced refugees from the war with the Ori. This is met with thunderous applause, and Bra'tac calls the meeting to an end.

Outside, Teal'c meets up with his old friends, and they swap galactic news; events going on in the Jaffa Nation, and events going on back on Earth. But the meeting is interrupted when an al'kesh swoops low over the complex and crashes just outside of the city. Stunned, SG-1 rushes off to investigate.

They find the al'kesh already swarming with Jaffa warriors, setting up a perimeter, with death gliders circling overhead. Bra'tac approaches from behind, assuring SG-1 that the soldiers are only there to protect the city. Ever since Dakara was resettled, the population of the capitol has exploded, and two million Jaffa live in the temple-city alone. Reassured, SG-1 offers to explore the downed al'kesh, along with a small security detail.

Once onboard, the team and their three Jaffa escorts fan out. They find no signs of life, but there are staff blast marks all over the ship. Daniel also comes across the eerily familiar sight of an acid hole in one of the ship's doors.

Suddenly, staff blasts are heard from the other end of the al'kesh. Mitchell and Vala rush to investigate, but arrive too late. They find the corpses of their three escorts, with their flesh bubbling and sizzling. They also notice acid holes in the doors to the chamber. Finally, they realize what's going on; there are Replicators onboard.

Almost as soon as they figure it out, Carter and Daniel are ambushed near the pel'tak, and find themselves pitted against a dozen or so bugs. But they seem to have learned a thing or two, and leap out of the way of incoming bullets. Finally, though, the two Earth warriors manage to destroy the Replicators.

As quickly as they can, SG-1 gets off the al'kesh, and rushes to where Bra'tac and Teal'c are waiting. They tell them that they must destroy the downed bomber before the Replicators can escape, but it's already too late. Busg come bursting out, and Jaffa around from temple report that they're ringing into the city, as well.

Knowing that the Replicators will overwhelm them within no time, Bra'tac orders the city evacuated to Chulak, and tells Teal'c to have the fleet bombard the stargate as soon as the last man is through. He reluctantly agrees, and SG-1 falls back to the temple to escape.

As thousands of Jaffa flee throuh the stargate, we see a battle raging all around; Jaffa security patrols are putting up a valiant defense of the temple, but they cannot hold on for long. More and more Replicators are ringing into the complex, and they're getting ever-closer to the gate. Finally, Bra'tac and Ishta arrive and head through the Chulak. According to them, the Replicators are about to smash through the last line of soldiers.

Teal'c is still nowhere to be found, but SG-1 is out of time. As bugs pour toward the gate, they run through, along with several more Jaffa. The ha'tak in orbit open fire, and we watch as the city is ripped to shreds in an effort to destroy the Replicators.

Some time later, on Chulak, the Jaffa government has taken up residence in Apophis' old palace. Reports are coming in over subspace that the Replicators managed to get through the stargate before it was buried, and several planets have been compromised. The Jaffa fleet has been pulled back to the "clean" worlds, to keep them out of enemy hands.

General Landry informs both Bra'tac and SG-1 that the numerous offworld research sites are being sealed off to prevent infestation, and that 304s are standing by to neutralize Replicator warships with railgun fire should the need arise. But still, Teal'c has yet to be found, so the team asks to borrow a tel'tak to see if he's stranded on Dakara. Bra'tac agrees, and SG-1 departs.

Meanwhile, the Replicators have been spreading out quite rapidly. They've already attempted to break into the SGC twice, but the iris has held thus far. Landry is getting nervous, and asks for an extra set of machine guns to be mounted inside the gate room. Just as we leave that scene, the Replicators dial in again, trying to gain entry once more.

At long last, SG-1 arrives over Dakara, and finds the planet decimated. The capitol has been completely ruined, with nothing more than slag remaining. The stargate, they determine, is buried approximately 100 feet underground.

When a scan determines that the Replicators are away from the area of the downed al'kesh, they ring into it and exit onto the field outside. Then they begin searching the numerous blast craters for any signs of Teal'c, but cannot find anything. Disheartened, they head back to the al'kesh and prepare to ring back into orbit. But as they approach the ring room, they find a shocking surprise: RepliCarter.

She and dozens of bugs snuck back onboard while SG-1 was away, and now they control the ship. RepliCarter explains that when she and her kind were destroyed three years before, they thought they were lost. But then another group of Replicators, who called themselves Asurans, found them in the Link and allowed them to be reborn. They generously let RC (RepliCarter) and her bugs return through the stargate to the Milky Way, so they could finish what they had begun.

RC smugly tells Daniel that his sacrifice was in vain, for this time around, she's made certain her cipher will hold. The disruptor weapon is useless against her forces now, and she plans on destroying everything in her path, as retribution for what SG-1 did to her.

Just as RC begins to order her bugs to kill the team, they are suddenly beamed out, onto a 304 waiting in orbit. Onboard, Col. Ronson welcomes SG-1 aboard the Odyssey, and they escape Dakara, heading toward Earth.

(Okay, I'm tired of writing for now, I might edit in the rest later.)

So, sound like a good idea? Or do you think it's best to let the MW Replicators die?

While i like the reps returning, i don't see how the asurans could even get them to the MW since iirc they did not have the special crystal for intergalactic dialing. Nor did any of the asuran episodes show anything of them recognising or even knowing of the replicators.
