Sam and Daniel looked soooo geeky to the point of being ridiculous, but I got a kick out of that. McKay was as obnoxious like he used to be before going to Atlantis. Ra looked kind of weird, but then I was comparing him to what the Ra in the StarGate movie looked like.

LOL i loved this ep. Geeky Sam and Daniel rocked. And the way Daniel told Sam he wasn't going to let them get rid of Sam cause they were a team was great.

Haven't seen part 2 yet but so far im still going with they should of made Reckoning and Threads last and put this before. Can't wait till Moebius 2 though.

And I'm so glad Rodney finds librarians sexy. Since that's what I'm studying in my master's program.

loved it, just loved it. All and every part of M1. Have seen it twice will now watch my tape. Geeky Sam and Daniel were amazing. Couldn't stop laughing. Just great. Jack being rough was perfect for the part it asked for. Hammond, Davis and Samuels were played perfect for AU. Just missed Janet, Walter and Siler though. But overall one amazing ep. Have to give kudos to the writers, producer and to the directing of PD. AMAZING EP

Notations: Now I know one reason I've pretty much signed off on Atlantis. McKay is funny as a guest character. As a regular he's just too too much--IMO.

McKay has matured a bit and grown in Atlantis. He's still a little grating but he's shown a very human heart. In this ep, he played McKay a little more comic and snarky.

Great alternate Sam and Daniel as everyone else said. Very funny and get to see Jack going out of the SGC. Maybe he'll get some action scenes later.

There's actually a reason for placing Moebius when they do, but I suppose you could view Reckoning/Threads as the finale and this as the dessert, if you wish.

AAAAARRRRGGHHH! This is NOT an alternate past; it's an alternate present. If it were the past, it would be incredibly wreckless of Daniel to go mentioning everything that happened on the video up to the present. In fact, Daniel mentions they're going to hide everything in a site that was discovered just a month ago, so that itself should indicate it should just simply be an alternate present. As for other points of confusion you had, my recommendation is watching the second part.

True it's not an alternate past that is portrayed in the show when they have a present day Daniel and Carter (necessarily) but an alternate present of course that is brought on because of the changes made by SG1 when they changed the timeline and lead to an alternate past up until the point where we come across the alternate present... Anyway, alternate timelines when talking about alternate pasts and presents are sorta moot points since alternate pasts lead to alternate presents unless you have a mirror present that itself has an alternate past (the only area where useing the term alternate past makes any true distinctions) but in all fairness there was an alternate past that lead to the geek Carter and loser Daniel manifesting themselves in the alternate present that we come across at middle or end of the episode.

So in order to make sense of this whole thing lets just say alternate timeline and forget the distinction of present or past cause since a present needs a past to exist the past doesn't need to be the same for the present to be the same and things when we draw these fine distinctions just get confusing...

Well the truth is the shows are interconnected at this point since the events of the one show effect the other and if you see SG1 and see Atlantis you wonder what can happen then you see the solutions in SG1 and Atlantis and they play off eachother as well... It's more artistic this way I guess but it's sorta confusing if you just watch one show or the other and also when the DVD box sets come out you're sorta forced to get both box sets to watch the ends of both shows intermittantly switching between DVDs to make sense of everything. (Why'd they get a message from Atlantis that has made them want to get a ZPM? why did the SGC show up to save the day? What's going on here?!) you know that old chestnut...

Fun ep! Geeky Sam and Daniel were a hoot. Snarky Jack is still sexy. My fave part of this ep is geeky Sam, and Amanda's *wonderful* performance.

AU Hammond and Samuels seemed the same to me.

I prefer Major Davis without the mustache.

AU Sam and Daniel were a little too geekie for me. This time, it was AU Sam and Daniel that figured with the Antrictic gate was instead of just Daniel. Also, Daniel has little more wait that our Daniel.

And AU Jack has his fishing boat.

Hopefully pt. 2 will be better.

I loved this episode! I loved Amanda!!! She has done Replicarter, Nerd Amanda, and herself all!!! And all quite well I might add!

It must have been so much fun for the actors to makes Moebius. And it was probably a learning experience. They had to make the show as different characters really.

Great show! Can't wait til next week!
