As soon as Mitchell was like "I'm gettin Punk'd right?" i knew they had to be messin with him. If mission 30185 is "1969" then it makes sense why they'd not talk about it since it involves time travel.
Ofcorse it's possible it's so super secret mission that they never made a record of. Who knows, maybe that's when they met the Furlings and they can't talk about it in order to keep them in hidding.

Upon seeing the episode twice in the same night (gotta love the reairing) I came up with a possible solution. The core of the statement was that Jack had taken a mention in Mitchell's life. Maybe for a different reason. In 1969 when SG-1 was in the past who was the hippie couple that gave them a ride across the country on that bus? Maybe they were Mitchell's parents, the timespan seems about right.

1. They were reffering to 1969, not Foothold, that was made blatantly obviosu "when we went back to 1969"
2. It was a sodding JOKE!
3. Not a really great one, personally I would have had Daniel being his father as the joke, as a nod to their slight resemblance that they share, ala "somewhat limited gene-pool" from AvalonEquality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who is confronted with it.
