When? I don't remember reading anything where that would come into play. But I only skim read it.

Sounds like that the writers have gone back to the basis with this ep, which for me is great as in my opinion we have seen too much space opera and beaming technology to get SG-1 out of trouble!!

          Thank-you please.

Do we really need a spoiler for that in a thread for an episode that comes after that? I can't imagine anyone would read a spoiler for a later episode and not read spoilers for an earlier one. But, just in case....
            Spoiler:
And thank goodness for that. So, now for those in the know, we can stop the "Daniel's going to be the big enemy of season 10." That should only be used for "enemies" who stay enemies for a good chunk of the season.

Now, back to the episode. It sounds weird. But, there's something good. Both MS and CB are in the episode. And, both of them are off world. But, even though there seems to be a splitting up (boo) of the team, it's not automatically Daniel and Vala on one end and Mitchell and Teal'c on the other. I don't know if it'll be quality, but it'll be Daniel and Teal'c time. I was thinking with Landry appointing Daniel as Vala's 24/7 babysitter, the only way to separate them would be if one stayed at the SGC (Morpheus) or one of the actors wasn't in the episode.

Now, they just need more with them all together, and some with other pairings. Teal'c and Vala. Daniel and Mitchell. Teal'c and Sam (like they'd ever do that).

The episode description is up on gateworld now, but it's not as detailed as the one on solutions.

What if the hokey-pokey really is what it's all about?

              Spoiler:
I made a big decision a little while ago.
I don't remember what it was, which prob'ly goes to show
That many times a simple choice can prove to be essential
Even though it often might appear inconsequential.

I must have been distracted when I left my home because
Left or right I'm sure I went. (I wonder which it was!)
Anyway, I never veered: I walked in that direction
Utterly absorbed, it seems, in quiet introspection.

For no reason I can think of, I've wandered far astray.
And that is how I got to where I find myself today.

Daniel will be back to his old self by this one.

Which makes me think he does it intentionally to try to find some knowledge of the weapon.
Anyway this sounds like a great ep. I love Martins scripts.

That's also a possibility. I'm open to whatever as long as it's done well.

Me too I was worried that it could be a permanent thing only fixable by dying(again). I'm glad the writers don't go that route. All in all I'm looking forward to another "crime" type episode. I rather liked the Skaara triad on Tolana.

I -love- Daniel/Teal'c interaction. They share such a great friendship that we rarely get to see.

I still don't know what to think of the missing Carter yet. I hope they have a good explanation for her not being there. If she's not going to be there.

Sounds familiar, and I'm not judging, not yet anyway, but why are they on that planey anyway, aren't they still dealing with the Ori threat?

I actually love the space opera and beaming lol, but I do agree I think with the core of your statement: This sounds a lot like an old-school SG-1 episode, which is ALWAYS welcome
