I think that your right. The 200th episode could of been great, instead it's a mockery of the show we've come to love and I don't think i'll ever bother to watch it a second time.
But your bashing of the changes in season 9 seems a bit childish, like a kid wanting his old GI joe's back after the dog ate them. RDA is gone, live with it. Mitchell is the new team member to fill the 4th member void it left. he's not a replacment he's just there to round out the team again. If people would stop comparing him to Jack I think we'd all be fine with him. But instead there is nothing but unfair comparisons and hatred directed towards a character who while at times heroic (though no more so then Jack was ocasionall I might add) still has his flaws and has presented them. Hell I consider the blantent heroics to be a pretty major character pont, and flaw. He wants to be the hero, he wants to save everyone. Unlike Jack who didnt pay attention to the larger conseuences and jsut did what it took to get the job done, Mitchel keeps thee consequences firmly in his mind, and this motivates everything he does. It's part of his character and like it or not he's jsut as valid a character as Jack.
Anyway I've ranted to much. In short SG-1 season 9 and 10 good, episode "200" concept, bad.
