That's not correct !!! The scene was stopped by JM (and he was quite shocked that the director interpreted Black Cam-Sam as shippy- and in view of his recent posts on his blog it seems JM is as much a S/J shipper as a PTB can be)

I don't recall reading it was JM. I do recall reading it was Bowder who doubted the scene. It was in a gateworld interview. I will look for it. If you could find your source I would like to read it.



I don't know about that !!! To me he seems to be as cocky as Cam !!! I recall a scene in the promo for S10 where he says: WELCOME TO SEASON TWO !!! I was WTF Doesn't he get the whole history ??? Mind you I haven't seen him in "Farscape" before ! But after S9 when I tried to watch it I couldn't shake Cam off... Hope this doesn't happen with AT in Sanctuary, 'cause although I was a huge Macgyver fan I could enjoy very much RDA as Jack too.

I would disagree--I've never actually MET the actor. But from behind the scene footage and articals I've read he seems pretty down to earth. I don't remember seening the season 2 comment. But he could have been trying to stress that to him...it's a new show.

Farscape was a good show--from the first 2 seasons I actually was able to view. We had switched providers and I recall losing some channels for a time. Anyways, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and not try to judge them in a negative way by just seening interviews.

The only way I would feel comfortable saying that BB was COCKY as CAM is if I knew the actor personally.

I never met any of the actors but they seem to me to be funny and intelligent people. Some I would like to actually meet someday, Like AT or Don Davis. Some do seem more humble than others...but none seem to be that stuck up and cocky.

One thing i really noticed is that with Jack gone Tptb seemed to split his personality up and give to the rest of the team. The witty banter and weird sexual tension went to vala, the cynicism went to Daniel, Teal'c got the pop culture referencing, Cam got the heroism part (but without the plan to back it up) SAM got the military part of him. They didn't have a strong brash lead for the show anymore (at least not a believable one) so they tried to make the show a ensemble piece but with Vala stealing the spotlight with Daniel, Cameron pretending to be a leader but getting them into trouble and acting like a hero for getting them out of it. It left Sam and Teal'c out in the cold and failed miserably

With Rambo Daniel, if he get's killed or tortured...I really don't feel for him.

It's hard to feel for someone you can't care about, somebody who isn't real to you.

When Sam is injured, I feel for her because she seems so much more alive, so much more real than Daniel - I credit AT for a large part of that. She seems to have a Midas touch of sorts; she can take mediocre material and make something great from it.

I don't know why TPTB decided to mutate Daniel's character into an action hero - if they didn't have the same name and face, I wouldn't believe that he was the same guy as the Daniel in Season One - but I consider it a massive mistake on their parts.

He just can't carry it off without looking ridiculous.

LOL...someone did have a count on how many times Daniel died. I think it was nealy 50 times. Can't remember...need chocolate.

It's been so overdone that it's lost all dramatic impact.

I wasn't surprised that nobody seemed overly concerned about Daniel's absence in Season Ten; I was just surprised that nobody was laying bets about how long he'd be gone this time.

It's difficult to worry about a character's absence when you know that, like a bad penny, he'll always come back.

Could be interesting; Skaara comes back and reveals that the Ascended have punished Daniel for intervening with Anubis by forcing him to alternate between washing dishes at the diner (with a toothbrush, cold, filthy water and no washing up liquid) and watching the unholy mess his duplicate is making of his life.

I think poor Daniel has been made into Anubies parol officer and has to follow him around invisable and make sure Anubie doesn't kill anyone important. Thus, watching the whole thing as it happens. But not interferring.

The fanfic I'm writing I did make Anubis a Daniel imposter. But I kept real Daniel too...so, one minute he's nice, like real Daniel and the next minute he has Mitchell getting him porn flicks from the local triple X. It turned out really funny, till Anubis killed Daniel and got cuaght. But Oma ascended Daniel once more. Now, I'm really messing with Daniel's head when he finds out his grandfather gave him false memories and Daniel is not his real name. It's Aaron.
