You're not horrible. Sometimes you just can't get anywhere. My current fic is the opposite. It's just flowing. As for the fleshing out? Girl, let me tell you. I write what comes to mind, then I go back and add little things here and there. It will be a bit long...maybe 10000 words at the rate I'm going. We'll see.
