It's gonna be so great meeting up with you guys. When will the meet take place?

I guess we'll figure the meeting place when it get closer to November. So far no one has Saturday PM but that's if the Friday people hang to Saturday for the tours.

Hey guys I watched 'Lethal Weapon 3' last night and I see what you mean about the 'Comparing scars' scene; it would work well for Sam and Jack lol!

Oh, yeah, just remembered what my main reason for posting was (momentary memory lapse due to the excessive heat I think lol!) - when I was on my way to the Shipper Meet the other day a 4x4 pulled in front of my car and it had a spare tyre on the back with a cover that had a picture of a fish and the words "Gone Fishin'" on it! That has to be a good omen for S10, right?

The ship is making my mind go to mush...I'm listening to the radio and the song...Sin,Sin,Sin by Robbie Williams...was on and I was thinking of Sam and Jack and they just put that song by Shakira...My hips don't Lie...and I always think of that ship fic that I read...it's everywhere...helpppp!!!

I have a question, do you guys think that if Jack is anywhere in the AF that the regulations will still be in place according to TPTB?

I know we all heard AT say something like "now that he isn't in her direct chain of command, they can have some fun" but I wonder if TPTB will really follow through with this? I myself am having a hard time swallowing Jack in a desk job position with what title heaven only knows we only know that he is not "action Jack" right now, and he is happy with this when this said job could be keeping him and Sam apart? If this is true than what the heck was Threads all about? The problem here also is we could probably go the the AF rule book and find that Jack and Sam, under the new current situation, may be able to get together; but, TPTB will hold true that if they are both in the AF the regs apply. I think that episode 200 will really tell us just what path TPTB will be taking, I realize that everything will probably be "fake" but how it would be introduced will be more telling.

I honestly don't know. Sometimes I think they don't like sticking to the regs and other times I just think it's a convenient excuse to leave us shippers hanging for another season! Maybe it's a bit of both, who knows?

Since they're bouncing ideas around I just got a mental picture of SG-1 sitting around the briefing room table and Teal'c suddenly piping up "Perhaps Colonel Danning and Major Monroe could at last realise that they are destined to be joined in matrimony and live out the rest of their lives together." At which point Sam and Jack simultaneously get a shocked then guilty expression and there's a flashback of their ACTUAL wedding which took place in secret some time after 'Threads'. Now *that* I would pay big money to see!
