I agree with Liz. After all, Sam was willing to marry Pete partly because she thought he was the only chance she'd get at having the "American dream" (good job, 2.5 kids, white picket fence, dog...) Let's face it, quarks and capacitors don't keep you warm at night! At some point Sam must feel like she's done enough of the 48-hours-with-no-sleep-to-save-the-world stuff and want to settle down, if only to experience what she's been missing.

Personally I'd just as soon not waste the time on showing a wedding. There are too many other facets to the show in which to invest RDA's very limited time. I'd rather have acknowledgement of the ship in a meaningful, non-speculative or interpretable manner. BHK would do the trick quite nicely. Maybe an arm around shoulders or waist. I don't care whether they are or not and don't care whether or not they have kids. I don't have any and never wanted any. Something tells me that at 36 I'm not changing my mind. In 2010 she was upset that she was barren so that tells me that in one timeline she does want them. I couldn't tell exactly what she was asking in Affinity with that whole "what should I do" scene because IMO there are about a zillion layers of meaning to the conversation. However, I do know that if she doesn't want to do the whole 48 hours with no sleep thing, kids are definitely not the way to go. (that was a little joke and nod of appreciation to all those who do have kids and what they go through ).

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against kids for others but never had the urge myself, so it's really difficult for me to understand that desire and heartbreak if it doesn't work out. Jack's pain is very easy to understand. I have a niece and nephew and Honeypie has grandchildren, all of whom I love dearly, so that sort of loss is perfectly understandable and any fear on Jack's part to risk that over again is also understandable.

That's just my long-winded opinion. Feel free to disagree with me on any of the points. Hope it wasn't too long.

This trailer was better than the one made by the producers. The music background was a sense of hurry, do something. Man, my words are useless
in comparison to the trailer.
