I've heard far worse than grossed out Rogue.IMO RDA has played the Ship scenes the right way.The Regs have always been an issue and RDA had to tone down his reactions.Jack is Sam's CO and Jack would never do anything to hurt Sam's career.I was also surprised with the strong feeling against the Sam/Jack Ship.

What matters in Threads is that

Kerry confronted Jack and he didn't deny it. He also didn't go chasing after Kerry either.

For once we didn't have a scene that was vague and could be twisted into different points of views. At least I didn't read any alternate views of that scene.

Goodmorning everyone!

It's good to be here, thought my house was going to blow away last night. I live in Southern Illinois so, we got hit pretty hard in those storms. However, not as hard as Missouri, I think. My town got hit by the "squall line"....lots and lots of wind damage. I hope anyone who might have been in the path are safe and sound.


So, I have been thinking(yes, I am good for short bursts of intelligent concentration this time of morning )...........Do we see any possibility of a season 11? I know this question is more than a little premature but, it can give the characters as well as fans more options. Do we cross our fingers and hope that what they might throw our way is enough(as far as Sam/Jack) or hope that one more season could give you all those "Grand Ideas"? I go back in forth on this because as much as I enjoy the relationship developments......I really enjoy the show as one cohesive story. All of the characters, at their best! Another season could bring so many positive outcomes for Teal'c, Daniel, Mitchell(maybe) and Vala.

well.......my "short burst" is sputtering, so I'll be back in a little bit

We're glad you're here too! As to whether or not to hope for a season 11. I'm divided on that. If we don't get the resolution we want in season 10, then yes probably. But I don't think that RDA will necessarily be available and there is no guarantee that the rest of the original SG-1 will sign up for another season. So still hoping for that resolution in season 10....As for the other characters, it really depends on how they are developed. There are places that TPTB could go with them, but I'm unsure whether or not they will. So I suppose that if it meant good stuff for Mitchell, Vala, Daniel and Teal'c (an improvement on some of season 9 anyway), then ok.

Thanks scjon I am divided on this matter as well. A small part of me says to end it if we get what we want. Another part says this show was and is about a group of explorers. Maybe a little more time could go a long way in fixing what went wrong in the other stories. Whatever happens, I would just love for the show to end on a high note.

Bottom line: Rules get broken everyday. Sometimes the consequences are something a person can live with and other times.......more than they can take.

Sometimes the choice to love or the choice to do what is right are one in the same.........for some, Love is the only choice that is.

I had to watch PU several times before I even liked her much in that. Avalon is a classic example of her going too far on a couple of occasions.

I know exactly what you mean. I have no objection to the show continuing after we get our resolution, as long as they go somewhere with the stories they tell. I'm not sure that this has actually happened in some of the season 9 episodes. I hope there'll be more time for character development in season 10, but if they don't, you're right that an 11th season would give them more time to sort things out. As long as they did it then...
