Nice pics from Threads as were the others posted. Don't believe I've seen them before. Is that a nervous smile from Sam? However, I can't figure out Sam's skirt. What the h--- is it made of? I know some commented on her sweaters as looking like something from "To the Manner Born," comparing unfavorably to Kerry's outfit. Who am I to slur a classic sweater set, but I'd like to know what you make of that skirt.

Wouldn't they have been trying to hide AT's pregnancy by that point?

that skirt annoyed me, didn't particularly like the LC1 skirt either (ok, so maybe i'm just not a sam/skirt fan. but she usually looks so great in civvies). i wrote it off as TIIC trying to convey the awkwardness of the situation...you know like "subtly" or some such. bleh.

What does BHK stand for?

I'm all in favour of a marriage and if they have it at the end of the finale, even if people don't like it, it won't affect their non-existent chance of renewal.

I'd like to emphasize something significant here in this Threads scene

Sam knew that her Dad was dying. I assume she did not invite because if she was intending to marry , she would have requested that he be by her side at this grave time. And although it did not appear that Sam asked Jack to join her, when he entered the room and made the move to embrace her, she clearly was comforted by him.

Just an observation worth repeating!!!

I doubt it. Both were single experinced adults , they liked each other and spent the night together.
I was quite fond of Kerry. She said they had been good together and I belive her. If it weren't for Sam, they would make a nice couple. And that's what's bothering me - if they wanted to kill the ship why Threads happened this way?

I guess I'm just shipper depressed because of lack of the right ship in s9.
