I watched The Enemy Within a few days ago and there was a shippy scene that I had forgotten about. After Sam is rescued from the goa'uld Kawalski, she and Jack meet up in the briefing room. When General Hammond comes in, Jack reaches over and puts his hand on her arm as if to say, 'Nice to have you back; I'm glad you're OK.' I like the way he showed concern for her and especially the fact that he did it in front of an entire briefing room full of people. No need to hide or be on guard. It wasn't romantic, but it was tender and friendshippy - two things that I really missed later on in the series.

I couldn't find a picture of it, but at least this one from the same scene shows them in the briefing together:

I think I remember that bit. It's a good excuse to rewatch the ep just to be sure, though. Not that I need an excuse to watch Stargate.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!! Hope anyone who might be celebrating it is having a good day - I'm slightly disappointed that I didn't get a McDonalds Shamrock Shake (it's really the only Paddy's Day tradition I have!! ) because I was working.

i heard that that was a real moment between RDA and AT because she had gotten a concussion and this was her first scene after it.

Oh, thanks for posting that! The chemistry between AT and RDA is so reflective in the S/J ship. I think the S/J was so special not because it was written well, but because it was acted well. The same scenes and words between 2 different actors might not have made such a lasting impression on the viewers. *I'm talking about pre-S8 and S9*

Before I go, Happy St. Patrict's Day to all the shippers!

Maybe one day we'll be so happy over the S/J resolution we will
