if you ever get to meet amanda, you won't be disappointed. she's a VERY sweet person, who goes out of her way to make your con experience the best.

now if i ever got to meet amanda and rick at the same event... can one have a fun experience if their brain has exploded?

From what I have read on this thread, all of the actors are really nice people away from the job. That is probably why the SG1 team on TV genuinely feels like a "family", because they are kind people who get along with everyone. Does that make sense? What I type and think don't sound the same. Years ago, I went to a Star Trek convention and met William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy. Let's just say they didn't leave a great impression on me.

I just want to say that I believe too. I am so excited about the new movie, based on what everyone is saying that I don't know if I can wait that long. One of the things that I love about the ship is that it is still ongoing. There have been TV shows that I have watched and they ended with nobody knowing what happened. We still have hope with J/S and the confirmation. I still believe (and can still hear the bell ringing - Polar Express).
