Sam as Jack's VP? Poor woman. Tied to a desk day and night. Oh! *ahem* Err...*tugs as collar*...that didn't quite come out the way I meant it to. (smilies in no particular order)
Well...let's see...we're all pretty bored cuz there's not much new to discuss vis a vis the ship...BW still hasn't done his blog...the last ep of SGA is still a couple of months away...and aside from learning that Carl Binder is also working on the Movie#3 script, there's not a whole lot going on. *sigh*
On the other hand, we're playing "Guess Sam's middle name", there's the usual posting of pics and such...oh...and the Ep of the Week is Reckoning, both parts.
Oh my life did you guys really do that? I bow before you! And thank you from the bottom of my fluttery shippery little heart. Let’s hope it had the desired effect.
Cags
Yes......we really did that...in August, just before the start of Gatecon. And there were about a dozen of us out there, so more people should be blushing than just me.
So Carter...
Sam.
Right, ... Sam... If we're gonna do this, there's one thing I have to know. It's a deal breaker.
Jack? What is it?
How do you feel about dogs?
I like cats.
*thinks* ... Close enough!
It's up to the people getting married here. You can hyphenate your two last names (Samantha Carter-O'Neill), use his last name (Samantha O'Neill), or keep your own last name (Samantha O'Neill). It's all up to the couple. Many women choose to legally change their name, but use their maiden name for work. Or they'll hyphenate it, but let people call them by either one of the last names.
OT:
Spoiler:
No offense to anyone who has chosen to hyphenate, but that has always bothered me. I mean...what do you do when Susie Smith-Jones marries David Brown-Johnson? If they choose to hyphenate, do they become the Smith-Jones-Brown-Johnsons? It has always seemed to me that could get cumbersome in a hurry.
Personally, I was 28 when I got married, so I kept my maiden name legally. Everythng is in it officially...but family and friends send us mail as Melissa and Hubby/Hubby's Last Name...and that's fine.
I understand...but I'm going to be annoying now. What happens with your middle name? Doesn't that change after marriage? Because in here you can choose if you take your husbands name or not(the same with hyphenating...)
Sorry for the questions...
People do it different ways. Bobbie Sue Smith may marry David Jones and choose to be Bobbie Sue Jones. But she could also choose to become Bobbie Smith Jones. I think the proper way would be for her to become Bobbie Smith Jones...but if someone has always been called by two names (and a name like Bobbie Sue would be an example of that)...women may choose to stick with their first and middle names instead.
Just to redeem myself from all this OT:

Aren't they cute?
