They won't. They cut Vala out of the movie. I fully agree with you though! Daniel deserves some loving after all he's been through. So does Vala.

Okay let's be fair and precise here.
She wasn't 'cut out' of the movie...as in 'she wasn't in and then suddenly dumped.'
BW didn't write a script that she had a part in...period.
Which is very sad(for us and for Daniel), but I doubt that we would've seen any further development of their relationship anyway...I'm sure they feel they've resolved the conflict because they showed us the truth in Unending and don't feel the need to take it any further.
