Sam Carter /Jack O'Neill Ship Appreciation Thread 2.0
Anywhere near my hometown of Kenosha? Or my college town of Madison? Hmm? Makin' me homesick!
Nope, I'm still closer. Both right now and when i was growing up And our men's hockey is playing St. Cloud right now in St. Paul... but you probably knew that*fingers crossed*
And on topic. I agree about the cello. In my universe, as many of you know, she did
EDIT: 3-1 at the end of the first, but that really *is* OT

Cabin OT
Spoiler:
Don't know where Kenosha is but we're north of Madison - Bayfield (I'm sure you know that place with it being a tourist spot).
On another note I'm finally writing the AU not-military Sam story I've wanted to do for AGES and AGES - cliche, I know but y'know... I want to. It'll be a while before I finish it and I'm not going to post it until it's completely done because I want to be able to go backwards and tweak earlier chapters.
True that. With a little bit of fluff on the side. Wait...what's happened to me? I don't get it either, so I'll blame it on Jena and the cancellation of 24.
I don't know if I could break down my favorite shippy moments by season (I don't have the attention span at the moment). I think perhaps at the very least they would include the cafeteria scene in WoO (what not the kiss?! While certain phenomenal - I love the way Jack watches her and the flirty smile she gives him). Affinity's ring scene (dude, I live in the cavern!). The "always" scene in threads. The scene in D&C when it's AT alone (I think the commentary mentions the brief second she looks into the camera) before she runs out to see Jack doing what noble men do for their lady. Also - the forcefield scene. The hug in Heroes.
Both them capture such depth and emotion.
I think we were trying to think of a ship completely opposite - Ross & Rachel on Friends. No matter what you say, I don't think there's an argument to be had for maturity LOL
On another note:
I'm in a cabin in Wisconsin right now and on our way up we passed "Jack's boat rentals" :: giggles :: Maybe I'm in the Moebius universe?
Thank you! I was trying to think of a couple on TV and they are exactly what I meant.
Let me know if you "force" her into it ... I have pretty much all these ficlets in their own little file on my computer. You know ... for posterity or something like that. Or in case she isn't saving them herself ...

Or I'll just make an account under her name and all those ficlets...that's cool!
