Sam Carter /Jack O'Neill Ship Appreciation Thread 2.0

In my rewatching of episodes, I just watched "The Shroud" and in the scene in the briefing room where SG1, Jack, and Landry are all sitting at the conference table discussing Daniel - Jack is sitting next to Landry, sort of at the corner of the table and is facing Sam, who is sitting next to Jack sort of facing him, - and your comment about "playing footsie under the table" sprang into my head, and I started giggling - totally uncalled for given the seriousness of the scene, but just the positioning of the seating struck me as pretty funny.

There are many, many times that I see their positions around the conference table, or elsewhere, and I think--wow, that's CLOSE. Their feet/thighs/knees/bums HAVE to be touching. Even though I know, in many instances, that it's merely the vagaries of blocking or problems with the set pieces, I still wonder (but not really) why it's not Teal'c sitting that close to Jack. MM-hmm.

Thank you. It was for such a good cause, of course. I even watched a few episodes that I don't normally watch (for various reasons), and in doing so caught a few times I had forgotten about - most of which are in the team list.

I haven't read any of the novels, either, because I figured there would be no ship. But maybe I'll try this new one that coming out... with Jack, Sam and pirates.

I just think there is such great and well-written fan-fic (and it's free!) so I usually don't bother with the novelizations!

Yeah, that's pretty much why I stick with fanfic and don't bother with the novels. I'm just not interested in reading gen fic. Depending on my mood, I may not even bother with UST sometimes. I really prefer reading something with ship.

I totally agree! Sometimes some S/J, fluffy, good fun is a great way for me to relax. Especially after a day at school. Fluff...I truly love you. Even more than angst, ATM.
