I recall reading that Jack's house is in fact, someone's house in real life so I've always wondered how many of things in there belonged to the actual owner and how many were props from the crew. Same with the cabin I think , but I do remember some old post where someone noticed the cabin in another show!

i wonder (when) sam and jack married (), they gave up their own homes to buy one together?

i personally like jack's home more, but it might be nice to start off with a new house where they're both equally new in it.

Hmmm...we're told in the first episode of S9 that Jack was selling his home and his bike when he was moving to Washington. But then Sam also moved to Area 51, she could have sold hers too. But since they were both apart, I don't know if they saw any wisdom in buying a home together...yet.

Never thought that Jack would have a bike, but I can see it happening. Sam might be too protective of hers to hand it to him...just for him to sell it!

And part of the Atlantis setup (the viewing balcony) as well I think! I remember watching something and going...'hey...isn't that...Atlantis?' Even New Tollana (was it some Canadian University?) was used in Battlestar Galactica.

Funny how this topic about props is making me think of when they were recycled in other shows (and it's not entirely on topic either).

Well I don't think Sam should have been wearing any shoes in the picture, she should have taken them off at the door like is polite to do when visiting someone's house, thinking about it tho, she probably should have taken more than just her shoes off....lol

I always got the idea that the motorcycle was more an RDA trait than a Jack one...or maybe it's Macgyver that I'm thinking of.

I always remember trying to get a closer look at the pics on Jacks fireplace. I always thought there was one which looked like a team shot, but then in city of the gods it is there too, which would be impossible seeing as they hadn't met Teal'c by that point
