I never really gave much thought to Sam's accent but I was thinking the exact same thing lol! The first bit where she's talking about being called the Grand Empress of Sci Fi is soooo Canadian it's like a Molson ad lol!

I'm going with less popular one because, as much as I love the Sacrifices scene, something definitely happened between them between Jacob dying and that scene! I don't know if it was a conversation or something more but the way that Jack is gazing at Sam and the fact that she's so distracted by said staring that she has to be snapped out of it by Bra'tac speaks volumes to me. And the nosey shipper in me is also driven crazy by TPTB not letting us see it!!! Lol

So I just found out that there are only 5 fics on ff.net under the category "S. Carter/Pete S" - and at least one of those is a Drabble about how he feels like a replacement part to Jack - I knew that s/j fans aren't keen on Pete but I didn't realise that Sam/Pete was classed as an endangered species in fanfic!

I was hoping for some nice, angsty Sam/Pete stuff (I'm in a bit of a sadistic mood today)

Yep, got it right the second time. I wanna read "Pete's getting a whumping emotionally because he's just not Jack" fics. I figured they'd come under the Sam/Pete category because it's them on the rocks.

I can't suggest anything to you since I don't read that kind of stuff, but there might be some great angsty S/J fics with a dash of Pete to further the plot along that could entertain you?

Well, I don't have any suggestions of where you could find any other than if you use the search option, narrowing it down to SG-1 and Sam as the 1st character, then just type 'pete' in.

And they sound interesting... But I prefer to just ignore his existence entirely in some moods. Don't take it personally, Pete.

Thanks, Fems. I'm an environmental scientist but it is one species I'd generally be quite happy to push off a cliff in a metaphorical sense! I'm looking for "Pete's about to get kicked to the curb" kinda stuff, like the Drabble I mentioned.
