That's so weird. My mom is in Chantilly, but Castle and Hawaii Five-0 were both pre-empted. I wonder why you got shows and she didn't, even though you're the same area and the same county...

I just wrote a little Halloween ditty thanks to this week's writing prompt and tonight's writer's sprint. It's mildly shippy, and moderately snarky.

I know!! I'm in the OK Panhandle right now, and it's 47 out, and the low is supposed to be 40 tonight. But for once we've only got 7MPH winds lol (if you know anything about my area, we are used to it being much more windy here, often a steady 30+MPH)!!!!!

You're welcome. Glad I could help. And the idea generally is to create something specifically for the event and person. So if you were going to gift a fanfic, you would most likely start writing it as soon as you got your assignment. And if you wrote it in English, you would just need a beta to check it over for grammar, spellings, general flow, plot, etc. Do you do fanart? Like with Gimp or Photoshop, or other software? That's always another option. I'm sure whoever you have will be happy with whatever you give them.

I'm in North Central Florida and, while we missed even much rain from Sandy as she passed, last night it hit 38 at my house and it was 43 while I was on my way into work today. I think our high is 68-ish which is particularly chilly for this time of year here. Talk about jacked up weather!

If you're using PB, you can just copy and paste the line that says "IMG code" under the photo or gif you want to share.

If you don't see that as an option in your album click on "Share" go to the "Get link code" tab and make sure the boxes under "IMG for bulletin boards & forums" are checked.

In your album beneath the photo or gif there should be several lines of code listed. If you don't see them then you have to click on the "Share" link that is the first one listed in a blue bar also under the photo. It should say "Share|Edit|Delete|Move" Then follow the instructions above to get the link code.

In the pic below you'll see a series of links in the lower right hand corner...that's where you can find all sorts of linking and coding info.

And nope...it's a simple [$IMG]link[/IMG] code (without the $). If you try to use the hyperlink feature, that'll be okay too but you'll have to remove the IMG info from the code provided by PB and understand the pic won't show up in your post...a link will.
