Ship holidays are a great way to get promoted. I jumped right over captain and straight to major last year from Shipsgiving alone.

Unfortunately, I have been working so much lately I'm not sure I'll have anything new to offer this year. (I had such plans.) So you will all just have to see my old stuff again. I will have the day off from work at least. I wasn't so sure of that until last night.

I'm hoping for Shipmas I'll be able to do a little more.

I've been living in the Cavern of Angst a bit too much lately, and I'm feeling particularly upbeat today. Ever said it so well - "please" goes to show just how much Jack is willing to do for Sam. "Always" is the culmination, but please is the path.
