Still, it's strange to say it's problem having CN topless - I'm thinking they mean for infirmary scenes a la RDA in Frozen - whilst angling for the sex appeal, and when the character is new enough to write around.
Sam having a belly button piercing might be a problem, but Teal'c and pierced ears doesn't have to be. It's not unwarrior-like. Unlike that catepillar thing from season 4(?).

Somebody should have told the wardobe department to keep him in longer sleeve Ts.

      Hi, LaCroix.

Colours wouldn't have worked so well with his designs. Wouldn't have been so clearly defined. Or would have shown up so good on his skin.
*Is mildly perturbed at number of posts she has made regarding the tats of CN, but reassures herself that it was all in aid of good-quality torso/arm thunking*

And spoil our fun?! Its all part of showcasing the fact that's he attractive but without going overboard. And SG-1 males usually opt for the short tee.

        "What is...?"
        "Don't touch it!"

Deserved to be there purely for the comedy value. It was probably their first attempt at making Teal'c less Jaffa-like. Kinda didn't work too well.

          Hola!
True. I've seen very few people who can carry off coloured tats well (they seem to work better small), and that's not mentioning the colour fading. Not a great look, IMO.

I think the one of the wolf and cobra he could of had it done in colours. But then that might be a little obvious to the ones who are looking at it. I find myself staring at some puzzles (find it/word kinds) a lot longer searching for it.

But it could be the purist in me about using black inks, since the two on my back are in black.

And *pointing up to previous conversation* it was blonde wasn't it? Luckily CJ decided to get rid of it fairly swiftly.

Yes, tat spotting is little more than an excuse for arm porn.

              Odd one out moment.

Only ep with sleeveless Ts and it's on the other side. Tch!

It's late and I must go to bed. Speak to you tomorrow.

Large coloured ones always remind me of cliched tattoos/tattoo wearers- and at least with the black ones then you're still retain some clarity of image if the skin gets stretched (btw, why's its a bad idea for a woman to have a tat on any region adversely affected by pregnancy weight gain or aging). But then I'm a little funny about tats-mostly because so many people get them and don't think about what they're doing. Traditionally they are symbols, representations, and they should mean something to you at all stages of your life. I have other mediums in which I represent myself, so I don't really feel the need to get one- that and every kid seems to want them
What are your's of, if you don't mind me asking?

Cute, though. Might not be around tomorrow. Off to the magical land of Andover to visit my grandparents (and I'm deliberately not going on the net in order to get some work done ). Should be back in time for a Wednesday thunk, though.

                      Take care, Smurf.

However cool a character moment it would have been to find out Jonas isn't as straight-laced as he appears.

But missed opportunities an' all that.

And also, like you said, with that amount of skin covered it would be a pain on such a tight schedule to have to keep covering them up and touching up the make-up after a hour or so under the studio lights.

I was just thinking how cute that would have been. A team conversation where Carter really gets going about her motorbike and leather thing and then gleefully pulls up his shirt to demonstrate that not all geeks are boring. And then he would attempt to explain the meaning of them, and O'Neill would be horrendously confused...but, oh well.

                        *Sneaks in 'Mansquito' pic:
I actually would have loved Jonas to have gotten a tattoo after coming to earth. Maybe just because he thought he would fit in better that way, or because he thought it was cool, or even because Teal'c had one. And the tattoo on his arm would make sense, since it's probably one of the major images he first saw when reading the base library.

On a separate note, allow me to slip into "teacher" mode for a moment. Where hair colors are concerned, they're gender specific based on spelling. Blond is a male, blonde is a female. Likewise, brunet is a male, and brunette is a female. And personally, I've never been able to decide if CN is blond or brunet - his hair seems to look like either based on lighting.

SG1 needs it's Fifth Man - Why should we settle for less? Bring back Jonas Quinn!
Jack O'Neill would die for any member of his team. But there's only one he'd live for: Samantha Carter.
