      As for websites to post on...if it's more than R rated, fanfiction.net will not accept it (I have seen lots of NC-17 stories there, but if it's an unpopular pairing like Sam/Martouf people will complain - I've seen it happen lots of times. Don't give them an extra excuse to say something nasty).

      There are plenty of others, including Symbiotica whenever it works again. Note that the two first of those above will probably not give any comments - there seem to be very few reviews unless you are a known writer/writes popular pairings. Livejournal depends a little on people seeing your page, of course, but you could join the samandmartouf group there.

          And now for yet another post here by me...sorry about that!

          Regarding the Sam/Martouf round-robin...I don't have a LJ account and I'm not sure if we're allowed to create a thread for just that here on gateworld? I suggest using email or shared account at fanfiction.net. Actually, I think the latter? What do you think, LtKatia, Hathor_girl, and drewandian?

          Sam1969, do you want to participate?

          I will find a number of plot bunnies/prompts for us to chose between for the round robin

                I have a LJ and it would be really easy to create a comm there that people could become members of with the ability of posting. I know some of you don't have LJ accounts, but they're free and easy to set up and I know a lot of people who have created LJ accounts simply for reading and commenting on fics and never post anything.

                ff.net could work too....I post there but it's kinda, I dunno, annoying to post there imo (or I'm just lazy and impatient lol).

                heliopolis is unreliable...i have yet to be able to get anything to actually post there for me.

                google docs will allow you to create a Shared folder where we would all be able to write/edit/whatever.

                I personally prefer google docs or LiveJournal but in the long run will willingly post wherever you all decide to.

                  I vote for LJ, then. Just thought of one thing - could you set the community we post in to not log/show ip's for logged in users? I regularly have to post from work, and we're not really allowed to use the internet for anything private other than email, so...I don't want my work computer's ip to show up on LJ Yeah, I know. They probably won't check, but I'm a bit paranoid

                          Yep. As a round-robin. A Sam/Martouf fic. So we write a chapter each. I have never written anything, so this is going to be a first for me, but I know drewandian has written several stories, and LtKatia and Hathor_girl has written at least one each.

                            LtKatia, drewandian, Hathor_girl - OK, I'll make a LJ account too, then. I will probably not do anything with it except post in this round-robin community, but...

                            drewandian, can you set up a community? I will make sure to post some bunny-suggestions this weekend.

                                I'm currently writing a fic so technically this would be my 2nd fic. My first fic of Sam/Martouf. Uhh.. Yea sure I might be able to write a fic of them. If i can get this other one done soon.
