Well, Chelle and I arrived in LA in one piece. I've spoken to Cliff on the phone. He sounds mauvelous, daugling. Hemsaid he is being Mr. Handiman and doing some renovations around his house. I will be meeting with him on Tuesday to go over the scripts.

Hi all!!! Today was FABULOUS!!!! Cliff is a wonderful darling sweet fellow, and watching and listening to his and Pat's project coming to fruition.... I feel very privileged to have been allowed to "tag along," so to speak.

I have one pic to share tonight, will try for the "good" ones tomorrow. not sure if my card reader likes Windows Vista, and I'm not in the mood to fight with the compy..... So here he is, our favorite System Lord, deep in thought.....

Well everyone, this will be my final post before heading back to the frozen north. It has been a blast and an unforgetable experience. I have loved it so much in LA, I wish I didn't have to leave.

Anyway, now for more adventures with Cliff:

I arrived for the shoot at 9:45 AM, 15 minutes early. Cliff and Collette, Cliffs wife, were already there. Collette is as lovely and skinny as I expected. She has a sweet S. African accent. She is a little more serious than Cliff but it may be because she doesn't know me very well. Lyall, the photographer, is almost as hunky as Cliff. He, apparently, was a model about the same time in S. Africa with Cliff. They were in a male dance line together. That's where Cliff learned to strut his stuff in a speedo, he said. Thunk!

When we finished the pictures, we walked down to an Italian restaurant nearby and had lunch. Cliff bought me lunch!!!! I was in heaven. We had a chat about conventions and the industry and the high price of houses in LA. Then he and Collette drove me back to the hotel, and got lost. I was sitting in the front passenger seat with Ba'al!!! He said this is why he needs the Jaffa, because
he gets lost easy when he's steering the mother ship.

Cliff has recorded his own melody for the background to the CDs. They actually have come out quite well. I am pleased with the music. Cliff really does know what he is doing. So, he can add composer to his list of accomplishments.

I've really enjoyed spending time wit Cliff and Chelle. Chelle has saved me so much time and effort driving me around the city, and she has taken some incredible pictures of Cliff and I working. At least one of those images will be on the CD. Chelle will now be able to list professional photographer on her resume. She will also be credited on the CDs.

Well, with Cliff and Chelle around, I've laughed a lot since being in LA. It's been wondeful. I really wish I didn't have to leave. But I will be back on line soon and preparing for the vancouver Con at the beginning of April.

Thanks, again, to Pat and Chelle for keeping us update on thier 'adventure'. I'm still laughing over the 'getting lost' going to back to the hotel. Another reason to like Cliff as he can laugh at himself.
