Ba'al /Cliff Simon Thunk,Discussion and Appreciation
Hi,
it was a lap dance for charity at a con in germany 2004.
Since Cliff used to perform at the Moulin Rouge many years ago, it stands to reason that he'd be good at that kind of stuff. Not that the Moulin Rouge is a strip joint, but Cliff would know all kinds of dance.
wow! i didn't think clif did stuff like that! cool!
AG, i'm hitting a brick wall concerning signing up for galaxy-of-stars. i still haven't gotten an e-mail back! could you maybe ask cliff my question for me and then send me the link? thanks!
I think that the owner of the site has lost interest in it. Many of the actors that agreed to post there haven't been. Cliff is about the only one who has been consistent and reliable. But, sure, I'll post your question on the thread.

hi,
i know, that the Moulin Rouge is not a strip club, but thanks.

I'm inclined to put clarkey's absence down to RL issues, rather than lack of interest. I suspect that one reason the actors haven't been posting is that the fans haven't been posting. Some of the forums haven't had any traffic since 2006! A star's not going to post if nobody's asking them anything. I guess Cliff has more active fans than anybody else on Galaxy of Stars.
I guess making cakes can be a pain sometimes, Iffy. I bet you don't want anything to do with them when you are not working.
usually bake at home too between last weeks special orders ( I had 3 cakes to make that people bought) and V-Day. I'm just tired - long hours. I'm supposed to be slow it's our deadest time of year - well w/ the exception of the 14th

I don't know him personally, either. It's just that in the past when I've had trouble getting a response from him, it's always been for 'real life' reasons. I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt. After all, he's set up a site that allows us to 'talk' to Cliff, and he's not charging for the privilege. That alone is worth cutting him some slack.

Cliff's associated with/supports a couple of charities: Karma Rescue and the California Wildlife Center. Some of us (myself included) can't afford to give as much as we would like. I recently found a site that allows me to 'give' to one of them, without spending a penny. It's the Microsoft Live Search Club : http://club.live.com You register, which doesn't cost a penny, and then play various word games or general knowledge puzzles. When you complete a game, you are awarded 'tickets'. People who live in the US can collect tickets and exchange them for 'prizes'. People who live outside the US can give some or all of their tickets to charity. (People who live in the US can do that, too, but it's the only thing non-US residents can do with their tickets.) Microsoft gives one penny for each ticket.
So far I've given $3.50 to California Wildlife Center. I wanted to split my donations between Karma and the Wildlife Center, but the site will only let you give to one charity at a time.
Karma Rescue is listed as Karma Rescue Inc. California Wildlife Center is listed as The California Wildlife Center (Surprise, surprise!) You can change the charity you give to. For example, you can give to Karma one day and the Wildlife Center the next.
I think this is a good way for those of us who don't have much cash, don't have a credit card or don't live in the US to give to Cliff's favourite charities.
