I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words about the Lioness photo.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Sam return and see what Amanda brings to the table. I truly think that her experiences with Olivia will add an exciting new layer to Amanda's already amazing talents and I'm really excited about seeing a fierce and confident Sam again.

sally, I believe what you actually dreamt about was AT performing with the GABIT band on their forthcoming tour!!!

We originally had her down as lead vocalist, but it looks like AT will actually be starring as a combined vocalist/drummer a la Phil Collins (but obviously better looking, and infinitely more talented ).

The full line-up (so far) is:-

ChopinGal (piano)
SeaBee (guitar)
dispofjazz (ye olde Banjo)
1speed or Coley (bass) - yet to be decided by a Bass-Off (with the loser relegated to the role of roadie).

I've also posted this message at my Amanda/Sam thread, but I'll post it here and also on the Sam's a great charactor .

I like Amanda cause, she's B E A uitiful! (Beautiful), very very sweet, carryin, very funny, loves her fans very much ... is gonna be an EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING Mommy 2 Olivia . Everyone is goin' to say I'm crazy but I think Amanda belongs in the galaries of the big ones (famous and well known stars (actresses like Nicole Kidman, Jodie Foster, Sandra Bullock..... . She's a normal person 2 (not somebody who can't keep their feet on the floor and start 2 get a personality of I'm better than someone else). No, she keeps friendly and herself, (don't know if simple if the correct word, but I think ya know what I mean). Also somebody who you should see as an example in, well in social contacts, .... (I know what I mean but can't say it in words)

I like how she plays Sam cause, she makes Sam alive, can feel like Sam is a real person, your best neighbor. How Sam interacts with Kids.

So what are your thoughts of Amanda and/or Samantha Carter

I don't post here normally (mainly lurk) but since no one has been here since 0930 CST (US that is), I thought I would post my only wall of Lt Col Sam Carter...

It's kind of BIG

Alright Samandans...feel my pain.

Last Friday, a bolt of lightning flashed outside my kitchen window. Scared me to death. I saw it and before I knew it, I was belly down on the kitchen floor...what am I, special forced trained or something???

Anyway, little did I know then that my secondary computer was toasty fried and the other was affected by a burst of electricity that burnt my router and then travelled to my ethernet port on my primary computer.

I didn't have any problems getting online Friday night after it happened so it never occurred to me that there'd be an issue. So when things went wrong I assumed that there was a major glitch in Windows...tried to fix the "software" problem and then was forced to back up the hard drive, reformat the hard drive and reinstall Windows.

It didn't work.

I continued trying and trying and finally FINALLY yesterday...I was able to reinstall Windows and Service Pack 2 (which was what was giving me the problem btw). So I'd like to adjust the axiom that says "Third time's the charm"....it's actually more like the 10th time...or as Jack said in Window of Opportunity..."Well General you know what they say. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try, try, try again..."

Needless to say I have ZERO idea of what's happened in Samanda since Saturday. Could someone be so kind as to clue me in?

Alrighty so now we're up to Origin are we? Well...I'll primarily be watching just to see what Sam's in for when she returns but I fear that I'll walk away with that same sense of emptiness...like something's missing...

But Sam will be back soon!

Man, Über! That's pretty crazy. Though I have to say that you dealt with it all a whole lot better than I would have. My computer likes to stage a coup every once in a while, and I never respond appropriately.

I have hope for Origin tonight, and I hope my faith isn't destroyed. I doubt it will be, but you never know. I want this episode to be creepy! I like creepy! The Orii seem creepy!
