it was a good but slightly disappointing ending for me. i won't go into specifics for those that haven't read it yet (even though i'm spoiler tagging it here ), but i'd have done the ending differently.

My Mum has been taken in to hospital, her MS her taken a turn for the worse and she can't feel her legs and feet atm, would it be OK to ask the Samanda family to keep my Mum in your prayers and send her those great Samanda positive vibes? Thanks guys your the best.

I got a lovely package in the mail today! Thank you everyone-chocolates from around the world! I love it. I laughed totally at the penguin, my mom thought I was nuts.
Thanks everyone for thinking about me. I was having a tough day-my legs have gotten very weak, and I fell yesterday and needed 911 to come help me stand back up. I was feeling very achy and embarrassed still today. The package couldn't have come at a better time.
I've been so blessed by Samandans. You guys are wonderful!

So...I got my AT4 account set up at the bank today...have a grand total of $100 in it...by next week I hope to triple that!!...but first I need to count out all those blasted coins!!!
I can't begin to tell you how excited I am for next year...yay!!!!
Anyhoo...have to take the girl to dance class tonight and have been in and out of here all day...dang RL!!!!!

Great, now I am stuck with goofy looking AT on my desktop.

Just goes to show you how bad my camera is, I was in row E! I need a camera with more zoom. I've been monitoring several auction sites.

do'h...I'm sorry! Wasn't trying to diss your pictures or anything. Mine weren't too much better either. I was able to stand or kneel on my seat though for a few shots so I could get views over the tops of people's heads and with the auction, Amanda spent alot of time in the back of the room which was cool. There was one good benefit for sitting in the very last row.

Everyone who has come by my desk has noticed and commented on the new pic on my desk. Most have complimented how lovely Amanda looks with her dark hair. I just glow, agree, and try my best not to squee. They all think I'm nuts anyway, but why add fuel to the fire, right? LOL

Hmm. Come to think of it...it's been a while since my co-worker commented on my alien friends. Of course, that could be because I've only been back from my two weeks overseas for 7 days...

Very nice! I wish I had a desk to display my pics, but alas all I have is a badge. Since it's in a clear holder I might be able to put a pic in on the other side though. Hmm...*plots*

Tagger!! You *have* to go! It's so worth it if you can squirrel the money away and take the time off for it. I had only decided to go a couple weeks before AT3 when I bought my tixs even though I had to do a little dipping into other accounts to make it happen, but I never regretted it as it was the most fabulous weekends I've had in some time.

That's my plan too. This year they had the most fabulous Carter bobblehead that I *so* wanted to take home, but alas the bidding went pretty high right away. Some other lucky person got to take it home that day. *sigh* Next year though will be different.

I found out on Monday that the Casino I work for has decided to cut our class time down by 4 wks. This means I need to be auditioned out of blackjack and baccarat by Friday of next week or they might not have another class spot to put me in as they are filling up fast. Bottom line, I need to pass my auditions now. Period. I have one for blackjack today so I could use whatever positive vibes you have left to spare here that I'll do well and pass today. *goes away to practice more*
