Sam in 2001 today: going up against the Aschen (above & beyond orders) "when do we leave?" (great moment); climbing off the Harvester; flying through the wormhole headfirst--yep, Sam rocks all right.
ETA: As far as tech moments: I seem to be the one who can clear the trickiest paper jams in the photocopier. Oh and let's not forget that in addition to her myriad other talents, we learned in Full Alert(?) that Sam can run a fax machine.
we saw in trio, that sam had the willingness - she had hundreds more off world hours and experiences than the other two - to risk herself. but she didn't do it for bragging rights, she just did it because she knew what to do.
but as soon as she couldn't do it, she backed down and let others. because that's what jack had to have done with her, let her learn how to do stuff by him standing back while she fumbled a bit as she learned
i also saw sam stepping back and letting her ppl do their thing. she could prob do all of it better than them anyways (except the doctoring stuff), but she was there to 'lead' the group, not do it all and have their just stand back and watch.
Spoiler:
sam let mckay try to throw the rope up more than once, but when it became dangerous is when she stepped in and just did it.
part of being a leader is delegating the work, which can be very hard for someone hands-on like sam.

I'm still working on that one. At least the one on my second job.
Yeah, I'm the 'take it part and clean out the dust' geek at work.
Coworker: "It doesn't work!"
Me: "Huh. Paperclip? Rubber band? No? Might it be the dust that's been collecting there for 3 years? Bingo!"
A customer was very amused when 'the girl' fixed the phone with the bad static ('the boy' boss was freaking about an important conference call happening in 1 minute) by... wait for it
