*I actually quite like Sam/Teal'c, they're fun and seem to get massacred less than other pairings, probably because so few people write them.

I know. Just like, beyond often being sent back to the gate to get help or being massively silent, teal'c is the least massacred in fic, because so few write him.

I think there's less than a handful of teal'c writers, and maybe 3-4 sam/teal'c shippers that write...and i'm one of them

I know Adi and i (someone i used to write with who i dont' have contact with anymore) once wrote a fic about Devon, sam and teal'c's child.

I should see if i can find it somewhere.

See, that's what makes sam so good. yes, sam/jack may be the predominant ship, but it was always handled in such a way that people that want to play with other ships can. so there's a little something there for everyone

Slightly OT - RDA is coming to Australia in March

...can't decide if to go platinum....which will mean taking all the funds from my AT5 account, or just general admission. Platinum will allow me to have a picture and autograph from all the guests and an evening event plus breakfast with the guests...breakfast with RDA...decisions, decisions!! Just waiting to see who the last 2 guests will be...thus far the line up is:
RDA, Ben Browder, Chris Judge, David Nykl, Connor Trinneer, & Dan Shea.
Just noticed they are all men...woohoo!!

In all honestly, Sam/Teal'c isn't a pairing that jumps immediately to mind as a fav, but I figure I probably just haven't read the right fic as of yet. Personally, I'm fairly open to most pairings, as long as the characters are written well and the plots are both existant and within the realms of believability. So if you want to convert me to your pairing of choice, feel free to pick a convincing sample and send it my way!
(Be forewarned though, Sam/Jan will always hold a special place in my heart as my #1 SG pairing )
