In that case, something is off with the S4K donation part of the site. It's been nearly 10 days since I donated some money, and I've gotten no reply, nor has the donation been processed to my credit card.

I read recently that CBC had renewed Arctic Air for another season so I wondered if AT would be doing some more directing for them. Here's hoping she also makes an appearance on the show (sorry, I know that doesn't help those outside of Canada)

By the way, can you get Random Acts of Romance on DVD in the UK? I saw the trailer and it reminds me of Playing By Heart which is one of my favourite films.

I know she and I have similar stories to our meeting of our hubby's and our first date. Actually it was eerily too similar.
We talked about it over dinner in 2011 when we all had a wee bit too much wine...well who could knock it back when our waiter was a huge fanboy of Amanda.

Ok, so she told me how she was going out with someone else at the time she met Alan. And she did mention about how they were introduced through a friend and they went on a trip...not sure where...that part was discussed but I can't remember if it was camping or something like that...but I remember saying to her how I was dating someone else when my hubby and I were introduced and how our first date was to a concert then we went camping.
And that our hubby's work in the same industry though different aspects of that industry...Alan is in contruction - a builder IIRC, while my hubby is in landscape construction. My son however is learning a trade in buliding...I'll have to ask if Alan can give him any tips.
I remember her saying they had been married for 20 years but said I thought it was 17 as hubby & I had just reached 18 and she said "well we've know each other for over 20 years" and I was like "same here"!
You know, it was such a natural flowing conversation. But I was just wow'ed that we had very similar stories on how we met our husbands. It was a nice dinner that night.
