Yup, something totally different and fun. AT would be great at it. I'd love to see her do comedy. I grew up on Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett, and in college I discovered French and Saunders and Absolutely Fabulous. My daughter and I quote F&S lines hehe.

Many thanks for all the prayers and good wishes of the last week. I was released from bed-prison the hospital after a couple of nights and am happily recuperating from my time of enforced boredom at home with my cats.

What have I started?

At AT3 Amanda was telling Arctic stories including about the polar bears covering their eyes so flashlights would not reflect off of them. Churchill is the polar bear capital of Canada and on Halloween when the kids go trick or treating the adults go along with guns to protect them from the polar bears. WARNING: JanSam and Mandy, do not travel to Churchill at Halloween!

Polar bears covering their eyes so no retinal reflection occurs??!!?? That is CREEPY smart. How do they know retinal reflection is occuring?? How scary.

I love polar bears, their dark skin, tubular hair, all the cool adaptations to the cold, but they scare me like sharks. Too predatory.

I'm familiar with GW, BUT, I'm hopelessly LAZY.

I'm also hopeful of having more screen time for Sam in Stargate: Continuum. It was great to see her in Stargate: The Ark of Truth but to me her role in that wasn't all that. But then, to me, the movie wasn't exactly all that either just as Seasons 9 and 10 weren't "all that". Sam wasn't really missing anything IMHO. I was not happy with what she was given to do but she was in it and that's the important thing.

Of course, the whole horrible (IMHO) Ori storyline really felt more like it belonged to Daniel and Vala...and now it's been wrapped up and I can draw a line under it! YAY! And we get Stargate: Continuum which seems like a movie more along the lines of the first 8 seasons! YAY! And Sam gets to do cool stuff (no pun intended)! YAY! And Jack is back! YAY! And it's nearly July! YAY!

Totally agree. I am looking forward to new ideas, new enemies, new stories.

How's this for a freaky coincidence? Two friends, one in Canada and one next door to me here in the UK, have new babies in their lives. Both born in the last couple of weeks. The Canadian is to be called Cameron and next door's, Mitchell!

My brothers little boy was born on Leap Day this year and they named him Cameron too. No significance to the name besides the fact that they just liked it. *shrug*
