THE MAN at his best... I find what he's doing to be courageous. The comment about the mother seals witnessing their babies being killed broke my heart, though. I don't think I could witness this up close as he is going to. I've seen it on tv and it made me sick.

I echo what you said there, that comment practically had me in tears, it's horrible to think this is still happening out there today and to see Rick getting so personally involved makes it suddenly very real & his cause very admirable.

Thanks for posting this. I stand up and applaud RDA and all those who fight for the animals and the environment. There are so many things that happen every day that is cruel and unnecessary in the way we treat animals/sea creatures.

Is this a recent article, or any idea of the date?

*My sig line regarding wild animals is my little way of speaking out against wild animals in the circus and elephants in particular. I try to speak out in some way whenever its circus time in our area.
