Vala isn't a girlfriend...just a diversion cooked up by Evil Daniel so Jack wouldn't notice him stealing Paul's Sam clone and leaving a new Sam clone in her place. The Sam clone formerly known as Paul's is now Daniel's, which is good since they kept fighting over her. Now, they each have their own.
