This is a random rambling from the (Very Drunk) people who brought you Randominity and Dr Shipper!!!!


Unlike most shows, ship is integral to Stargate SG1.
The relationship was hinted at in Children of the Gods, began blosomming in seasons two and three, and was finally acknowledged in Divide and Conquer.

This relationship has arguably the most loyal and passionate fanbase out there. One that I am proud to be a member of. Yet the very people who encouraged and enticed us into watching their show seemed to want to turn their backs on us.

Of course, shippers and some of the bosses and actors would not stand for this. Several quotes have indicated this

RDA: Apparently he's no threat to O'Neill
AT: When she does eventually get together with O'Neill

JM also made several comments but I can't be bothered sifting through the uber-thread to find it.

This is the reason why I think our resolution will be in our favour.

TPTB have realised just how strong the shippers are, and how dedicated we are. We also appear to have the actors on our side (yay)

All the spoilers are pointing towards our resolution

Threads has a whole Bplot devoted to it. It's mentioned in Citizen Joe, and Moebius may have a big shippy kiss!

Elfinwood I agree.It may sound strange but I really Liked 100 Days.I did not like that Jack walked away from Sam but other than that you really cannot blame Jack for his actions.Jack though he was going to be on the Planet for good and the episode took place before Divide and Conquer.It was great seeing Sam's feeling for Jack and the episode would have been even better if Sam and Jack were on the planet and Laira was on Earth.I have to give TPTB credit for not turning Jack into Captain Kirk.I wish TPTB did as good a job with Sam and Teal'c relationships like they did with Jack's.
