We shippers all know that the regulations are just a front for the writers not wanting to resolve the UST. You're right that the appearance of favoritism would be apparent. Jack even said that one of the reasons he took the job was so he could do cool things like promoting Sam. The regulations are not the real problem, and we know it.

Jeez, I am now totally destitute! Broke down and bought a pass to the Chicago con (I'm not in grad school for the big bucks
). Hey, I don't care if I'm there by myself (come to think of it, that sounds kinda like fun.......me and most of the cast.....alone for the weekend..... time to break out the secret stash of shipper cookies, and learn hypnosis ). Even gone so far as to beg accomodation at a friend's Mom's house 20 mins away (I can't possibly afford a hotel room on top of the ticket price 
).
I think this occasion officially marks my descent into complete and total Stagate addiction (I am feeling particularly geeky right now but in a happy, satisfied, anticipatory way!).
Yay Shipper Day (now if only I could pick 7 eps......)

I know the Gutter Gals had someone organize a T-shirt. Anyone out there up for the job? The shipper cookie list would be GREAT! Along with a slogan like "Which cookie is for you?" or "A cookie, a beverage, and a rollercoaster. What more could a Shipper want?" *I already know the answer to that*

I had surgery on my right knee first. I had a complete tear of the ACL and a bucket handle tear to the medial meniscus -- softball injury. Then 18 months later, I tore the left ACL completely, with damage also to the lateral meniscus. Skiing. Can you say bad luck?
