And now, I think an apology is in order. While I don't apologize for being snarky in general in my previous post, I do apologize if any anti-shipper lurking here feels hurt by it. It wasn't my intention. I felt angry and frustrated and said more than I should have.

As I said before, I left the fandom in early 2002 and stayed away for over two years, partly because of the "fandom wars" between different groups of fans. I just realized I was doing the same thing here.

As our beloved RDA said: It's not a life and death situation. It's fun. It's entertainment.

We should enjoy our show together - moan and whine and discuss and yes, SNARK if we want to, but we shouldn't declare war on another group of fans just because they see things differently.

I know it's difficult, especially now that many have lost their mojo and need a place to vent. Me too.

So again, sorry if I offended someone by saying those things about anti-shippers. It wasn't right.

I will concentrate on chocolate frosted coffee beans and thunkworthy pictures of Amanda Tapping now, thankyouverymuch.

I'm on the german stargate project site and it's great. I feel so intelligent that I can understand another language (Noooooo I sound like Daniel!!)

I found out some RDA facts today in a Stargate Special (can't remember which mag')

He's blood type B negative (very rare) and makes the kids at his daughter's school speak French!!! He spent most of his hiatus at Wylie's school giving out tickets and serving meals!!!

I think that is so sweet!!

DOn't worry about it. We've seen this site before and it's against forum policy to bash other websites so be careful what you say. They are just desperate. They see that the possibility of a shippy resolution is rapidly becoming a probability!

Oh... I did d/l that....sheesh...I just have to go watch it....but it is hard with a migraine...I have to brighten up my screen to SEE the videos and that HURTS the head when I have the STUPID migraines......<sigh>

Yep my hubs is nice enough to pull all the shades in the house and the only light is the computer when I have a migraine and I can't lay down because THAT make the nausea worse...........

In that case ..me think the anti-shippers will be all happy ...and as for me ..I think I could never watch an episode of Stargate again from season 1 to season 8 ..cuz it would not have happened ..I 'll resell everything ..may be wait until the DVD's become a little fortune and resell them to an anti-shipper second hand

Sara...he hasn't talked to her since season 1...at least we assume...so if thats true thats 7 years of non-communication...It will be hard to restablish a relationship after such a long disconnection.

Well, I do want to see them in a comfortable relationship, but I'd be quite happy to see them in the kind of awkward stage first! The more we see of their relationship the better! I wouldn't like it to become the focus of the show or anything, but I do want it to be a big deal when they get together, and see enough of it after that to know that it's still there. But I doubt we'll get that much.

I have a theory about that! Something had to happen to make S&J realise how much they actually care about each other, and that they wanted to be together. It couldn't be an "close to death/almost lost you" type scenario that triggers it, because they've been through that before, so it wouldn't be believable. However, fearing they may lose each other to someone else could push them in the right direction!

I know this probably isn't why Pete is there. But it makes me feel better about the relationship, and even
