Cindy, that's a wonderful pic of you and MS - you don't look goofy at all, and of course, he looks most handsome. I wasn't thrilled when I first heard about his new beard, but I confess the look is growing on me. And with the "addition" of the glasses, he looks positively professorial!

I look forward to reading your con report (saving it for tonight when I'm home from work). I only hope my photo-op with him in Vancouver looks as good.

When MY copy of the Guide arrives it will come bearing an autograph, so I am doing my best to wait until the end of April without going completely crazy. But I'm sure the person who delivers my mail will understand any eventual hysterics...because my postal carrier is a FEMALE.

Hello, everyone! Welcome to all the newbies. Come on in. The Pond is fine.

KG - I use PowerDVD to get my caps. It works well, easy to use. Then I use Photoshop for any resizing and stuff I may need to do.

Cynthia (the name of my best friend, BTW, but not you ), lovely pic. I can't wait until August when the con comes to Chicago. I went last year and had a wonderful time. How I managed to keep my composure I will never know. I actually managed to ask a question, too! Since the beard is temporary, I'm assuming it will be gone by then. Which kind of makes me sad, cos I kinda like it. Even though I'm not a HUGE beard person. It just looks good on him for some reason. Don't know why.

Good idea of brining screencaps for people to sign. I kinda made a little thing myself last year for all the main cast to sign. Then I brought DVD covers for the others. I jsut didn't want to have to spend the money to buy a photo. I may have to think of something different again.

I think I'm done with my ramblings and will now post a multi-thunk to keep with today's theme.

The con this weekend was wonderful. Unfortunately, my crappy camera let me down and I didn't get any good pictures from Michael's talk. But I met some good-hearted people who offered to email me their pictures, so hopefully I'll have some good ones soon. In the meantime, here's a scan of the picture he autographed:

Lets see here...first things first.

Cindy loved the pic and your Con report. Very cool and I totally understand about going to jello. Just thinking about meeting Michael and my stomach starts up with the butterflys. And I'm the one getting him to sign the guide AND giving him one as a gift...OMG what was I thinking?

Nah I am sure it will be okay. I am really liking the beard though. I just envisioned it being less scruffier than it really is. Just as long as it doesn't get any longer, I like it the way it is.

To all thew newbies: welcome to the pond. Pull up a seat and grab a pineapple (or mango, or whatever fruit you like, we aren't picky here).
