*fans self some more* Yes! Definitely need a cold drink. I keep wondering what the world'd be missing if he had stayed at UBC. That said, I always squee because he went to UBC. Shanks was in Commerce or Finances or something right?

And... why is this thread called "The Pond"?

Cannot claim direct knowledge, but I've assumed it had much to do with all the splashing in the shallow end, drowning in the Deep Blues, and the...um...aforementioned moisture content Pick your metaphor and swim with it LOL.

Am happy today....I just booked 3 Fast Track tickets for the Saturday of London Expo in a couple of weeks - so my son and hubs can hopefully meet Amanda Tapping again (and the lovely Damien Kindler and Paul McGillion too)..... Jon has passed another module at Uni and my new Tom McRae CD has arrived in the post and it's sublime and wonderful and as marvellous as his other three......*sighs*...

Yeah good memory Di I did take summer courses last summer. This year however I am taking one more than I did last year. So 3 summer courses and then it will be fall session again *headdesk*
