    EDIT:
    Oops - redoing my math. Daniel was born in 65, so if Davis is 2-4 years younger, he'd be born in 1967-71. Close enough! (Assuming he was 23 when he joined which would make sense because a BS is required for officers)

        Back for some quick thunking. Just heard Joe Flanigan is back on for the con - but for Sunday. One of my friends really wants to go for Sun. also but no one else wants to go with her. I'd like to go but not sure I could afford another set of tix for Sun as well...

But I can tell you that minimum time in grade to be promoted to Maj. is 4 years and minimum time in grade to be promoted to Col. is 10 years - the fast track if you will. So, assuming that Davis is one of the best of the best in order to be assigned to the SGC as the Pentagon envoy to begin with - grin! And even assuming he waited until 23 to join (Maximum age) ...We first meet him as a Major in Matter of Time, season 2 and he's still a Major in season 8 Zero Hour, six years later (last time I remember clearly seeing him) um... He's probably 27 - 31 in season 2, 1998-1999, when we meet him. Daniel would have been about 33 at this time, so Davis is probably younger than Daniel.
