I know how that goes. Hee. I go to an advanced high school too, I'm upperclassmen now (and I'm only 14! Yea!) so I start taking AP classes next year. Grr. Plus for the last 3 summers I've been doing PREP so that's pretty much the same as your summer class, except I'm taking Trig/Pre-Calc. It stinks cause I only have one elective next year so yeah, High schools fun ain't it? (You're not a nerd at all.)

Remember, honey, not everyone here is from America and, even if they were, very few would understand some of your terms.

Upper classman - She'll be a Junior (11th grade) in August.
AP - Advanced Placement. These classes convert to college/university credit when she graduates.
PREP - 'PRe-freshman Engineering Program' offered free at the University here and designed to cultivate an interest in Science and Math. (This year they are calling it WERK, I don't know why - but it's the same thing) She's supposed to get a high school Math credit for each summer but I need to talk to the high school's principal as there seems to be a miscommunication between her school and the district administrative offices...

Proud mommy will shut up now.

Well I survived my colonoscopy. Everything was fine but the md recommended I go every 3 years since my father had colon cancer. I'll decide about that in 3 years. Next is my cardiac nuclear strss test on Fri, but I think it will be fine. I'm not so worried about that one. The one I had today was the one I was dreading, so I am VERY glad it's over. Since I'm supposed to take it easy the rest of the day (no gym or yoga), thunking seems about right.
