I'm back and a very proud mum!....my son's team took 2nd place in the Business Enterprise competition that his school ran tonight!

.....not only does he win £30 prize money but the local company they had to promote was so impressed with his team's presentation that they've been asked to actually present it to the Company's Management!...As Jon was the main co-ordinator he's extremely pleased with himself [and he managed to raise quite a few laughs during his presentation - wonder where he gets that from?

] I hasten to add that Pants were NOT involved!....

Oh and he's donating his prize money to Cancer Research in memory of my friend!....

And I'm baaaaaaaaacccckkk! Just put mum on the plane and sent her on back to Portland. We had a fabolous time, went to two casinos, the zoo and did some shopping. Unfortunately on the way to the airport I smacked some guys fender cause he stopped suddenly in front of me, no blinker nothing. We were merging onto a a two lane from another two lane country road (lots of those in Missouri) and he just stopped. Grrrr!

Then he had the nerve to call the insurance company before I got home an hour later and blame it all on me. At the least it's mutual. I'm a good driver, one speeding ticket and never an accident in all the years I've been driving. *fuming*

Anyways back to our regularly scheduled thunking, something I've missed terribly over the last week. Will get my SG-1 fill tomorrow, can't wait for the marathon!

Oh and Chelle, Kligs etc, have fun at the Con this weekend. Leave a little MS for me and Kerri....
