And now a small family birthday tribute from me that I've posted elsewhere, but would like to put on here too...

I hope he has a wonderful day spent with his lovely wife and gorgeous children....knowing what a loving husband and dedicated family man he is and after the TERRIBLE tragedy yesterday, knowing how upset ALL parents would be (and are), I should imagine he'll be keeping them close and safe and loved.....


So my birthday tribute to him is a picture that I was lucky enough to be there to to take myself - a lovely family moment in November 2006 at the annual Rogers Christmas Parade which I got the chance to make a wild and very last-minute flight to Vancouver to attend and see him, Lexa and a very very small Mia (no Sam, he was only a few months' old at the time) along with some of the other SG-1 stars...a magical 5 day trip and worth any kind of jetlag for sure!.. :
