It's not confusing...in my opinion.
So I can't tell you. It's not as good as the first one. Actaully kinda boring except for the end.
There wasn't much of Jr...but the few minutes where extraordinary hot.
And for the first time I have to admit...his dubbing was kinda cool. Not nearly as awesome as his own voice...but cool.

Err...hard to explain...in the first one there's a guy...who can read his diary to get back to the moment he's just reading...so he changes what happened in the past to change the future. Sequel is the same...but that guy looks at pics to get back to that moment. But changing the past doesn't mean the future will be better. Hard lessons to learn sometimes.
