History:

The Salamis class frigate was built in response to the Wraith new Kamakzie tactics. it is a light nimble craft and higly manuverable. it dose not have a fighter contingent but dose have various PD guns and very strong shields which compinsate for the lack of air defense in the absence of Carriers. The Salamis class is mainly used in conjunction with Cruisers and carriers and is an effective swift attack ship and great for planetery defense.

Sorry FN I really thought you were naming your ship after some cured sausage... I had to google Salamis first to discover it was a city.... Shows my ignorance!..... Hmmmm... Salami...

P.S. I'm voting for FN's sausage frigate.
