im experiencing a creative block. i think im gonna write something for this fleet just to free up my mind...

just something i was working on for ship design, i put it on another forum but i just wanted to see what people thought of it. i was going to enter it in the frigate vote, but it was a but small so im going to make it a bomber, if thats alright. and i spent four hours writing this.

the reason i called the ships bob and fred was because one i was short on names and i couldn't think of anything, i was going to call it excaliber but i wanted that for another ship. the ship Fred was named after the captains father, fredric, but they call it fred for short.

That's a good looking ship but i don't think we are going to wote for a ship design in some time.
But i think that we should vote for ships now and still write story arcs,caus you don't think out a ship design all the time!

yes but you can still design ships when we arent voting I have quite a few ships that are non fleet related.

I Wrote a guide to the GWVF's for 3.0 that encompasses a number of different aspects of the fleet concept, and i assume this fleet will follow a similar format albeit with different ships, history, technology and contributors.

Good luck with this fleet, although i would have prefered this in Science and Tech with the other fleets rather than in GD, but if it raises awareness of the fleet concept then fair enough.

Thanks for the input tep much apreciated. The main reason I made this one here was to see what would be produced by peoples in this area of the forum and so far it seems to be going not to bad.

yeah i do wonder if the science and tech section has been a curse of the fleets, but it is its home and main base of support. I am searching for the fleet you started in FF to have a look at how that went down, am rather curious.

O would say that didnt even happen it coonsisted of roughly 10 posts if that.

Yeah just found it, talk about crash and burn, owch! Though the fleets have a third more posts than the entire fanfiction section combined, so i wouldnt take it personally, i ran genesis for a year and only had 500 odd posts (its in the top 5 threads in the section lol)...its not exactly "active" as a department of GW, which is why i didnt want the fleets put in there.

Instead of writing a story ark can i write soething involoving Earth and its polotics because of the Wraith war and the Stargate program and a buch of other stuff. It wont be very optomistic at first and wont involve any characters, just events.
